This is an adorable yellow coral goby (Gobiodon okinawae) that I met last year in Palau. Note the shell-shocked look on its face, which I seem to get a lot from fish:

In the course of editing some images over the past few days, I dug up several photos like the ones here that made me want to get back in the water to stare at little things for hours on end.
I really want to take another trip to focus on macro images (sorry, bad pun...it just came out), but unfortunately it doesn't look likely for the foreseeable future.
Bummer for me, but probably a relief for fish the world over.
