Many people associate the change of the Chinese zodiac animal with 1 January.
That's wrong, wrong, wrong.
The Chinese zodiac changes with the lunar new year, not the Gregorian calendar new year.
This cycle, the lunar new year starts on 19 February, which will be the beginning of the year of the sheep 羊 (sometimes referred to as goat in English). This year of the sheep also marks the commencement of my fifth zodiac rotation. Round and round I go!
