I came across this school of bluelined snappers (Lutjanus kasmira) during a recent dive at Blue Corner in Palau:
School of bluelined snappers (Lutjanus kasmira) at Blue Corner dive site in Palau
They seemed to like hanging out at a particular spot on the top of the reef, in the vicinity of several patches of cabbage coral.
I haven't dived the site enough to know if the colourful fish are always there or not, but they were reasonably cooperative, so it's probably worth looking for them if you visit Palau and go to Blue Corner.
Their dominant yellow colour stands out beautifully against the picture-perfect tropical blue tone of the water.
These bluelined snappers were considerate enough
to maintain formation while I fiddled and fumbled with camera settings.
