I’m about to head out of Vava’u for a while, to go explore some of the many islands that comprise Tonga. It’ll probably be a couple of weeks before I’m back online.

And last night, I ventured out with my friend Julian to take advantage of clear skies and absence of wind to gawk at the Milky Way above. The number of stars you can see when there’s minimal manmade light pollution is truly a breathtaking spectacle.
